1. Who we are
MBL Parts is run by Company name: to be confirmed (trading as MBL Parts), registered in England and Wales under company number Company number: to be confirmed, registered office Registered address: to be confirmed, VAT number VAT number: to be confirmed. You can reach us by email Support email: to be confirmed.
2. Your order
When you place an order we email you to confirm we have received it. The contract between us starts when we email to say the order has been dispatched, or when we deliver it to your chosen partner garage. If we cannot supply a part, we tell you and refund anything you have paid for it.
3. Checking a part fits
We check parts against the vehicle you give us: the registration, VIN or make, model and engine. The check is based on manufacturer and supplier data and is a guide. Please compare the part with the one you are replacing before fitting it, and check axle, engine code and any options the listing mentions. If a part we listed as fitting your vehicle does not fit, we collect it free of charge and refund you in full.
4. Prices and payment
- Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT at the current rate. A VAT invoice is saved to your account with every order.
- Delivery charges, any kit discount and promo codes are shown in the basket before you pay.
- Card payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- If a price is clearly wrong on the site, we will contact you before dispatch and you can cancel for a full refund.
5. Delivery
We deliver to addresses on the UK mainland. Order by 9pm for next-day delivery on stocked parts; delivery is free on orders over £50. Parts we source from our suppliers take longer, and the expected date is shown before you order. You can also send parts straight to a partner garage, who will fit them at the agreed time.
6. Cancelling and returning
You can cancel an order and return unused parts within 30 days of delivery. This is longer than the 14 days the Consumer Contracts Regulations give you. The details, including how we collect returns and when we refund, are in our returns policy.
7. Faulty parts
Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected. If a part is faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund. Within 30 days of delivery you can reject it for a full refund. Many parts also carry a manufacturer's warranty, shown on the product page.
8. Fitting and safety
Brakes, steering and suspension are safety-critical. If you fit parts yourself, follow the manufacturer's instructions and torque settings, or have them fitted by a qualified mechanic. The "Ask the mechanic" assistant gives general guidance only and does not replace an inspection of your vehicle. Fitting by a partner garage is a contract between you and that garage.
9. Trade accounts
If you buy as a business (for example on a trade account), the consumer rights in sections 6 and 7 that apply only to consumers do not apply, and the terms of your trade account apply alongside these terms.
10. Our responsibility to you
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We do not exclude liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence. We are not responsible for business losses where you buy as a consumer.
11. Law and complaints
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you can also bring proceedings in your local courts. If you are unhappy, contact us first by email Support email: to be confirmed and we will try to put it right.
